» What is it about?
Through South African and other Speakers we will be running presentations and hands-on workshops, they will be introducing new technologies to educators and discussing the importance and use of ICT in education. This is an environment for teachers to network with other teachers and discuss the real issues associated with introducing ICT into lessons, and using it as an effective teaching tool. It is also a time to be inspired by the Speakers who are bringing stories of success, determination and of ways to overcome the many hurdles of going through the transition of integrating ICTs into the classroom and curriculum. The workshops will offer a hands-on aspect to the conference, equipping attendees with practical ideas and skills.
» Who should attend?
The target audience is primarily teachers. However, the conference will be able to offer valuable information to anyone in the educational environment. The conference is not only targeted at computer teachers but at all teachers who should be implementing ICTs in teaching and learning.
» When is the conference?
The conference will be held on the 26th, 27th, 28th of September 2010
